The Next Design Icon

The Next Design Icon is an established hit on Danish broadcaster DR. The show that gives 5 professional designers the opportunity to produce the next iconic homeware design.

Each episode will center one household object. The contestants will have 3 weeks to get inspired, design and manufacture a prototype. The winner will have their design go forward with the chance to win the whole competition. The series offers an intimate portrait of designers at work and under pressure.
