The Lithuanian version of the Rabbit Films original format City vs Country has premiered on TV3 Lithuania. The first episode of the 7 x 60 min season was the most viewed show in its time slot on Monday at 8pm. With the local title ”Miestas ar Kaimas” the show reached an audience share of 20.4% and a rating of 8.8%. It outperformed its main competitor whose numbers were 16.0% and 6.9% during the same time interval.
City vs Country is a primetime feel-good quiz show for the whole family. In the show two hosts take the teams trough three rounds of the game to see which side dominates: city or country? What do snobby city folk know about the reality of living in the country? And do the country bumpkins have any idea what it takes to survive city life? It’s a warm-hearted competition with bucket loads of tension!
Earlier in 2017 the Finnish version ”Stadi vs Lande” reached a 20.3% audience share for its first episode on MTV3 Finland. The season averaged 585 000 viewers (11.2% rating) and the total reach was 56% = 2.9 million. Currently Rabbit Films is producing second season of the show for MTV3 Finland, which is set to premiere in March 2018.
