The Ultimate Expedition Finland – Season 1

Ultimate Expedition is a breathtaking show where 8 celebrities are given a challenge to conquer a 20.000-foot-high mountain. The celebrities, total rookies in mountain climbing, spend a month at a major mountain area, and are trained by mountaineering professionals to get the skills needed for the unreal mission. The celebrity climbers are evaluated after every leg of the race, and the expedition leader decides who will continue and who’s out of the race. Finally, at the summit there is room for only one.

This reality series stars Finnish stuntman and extreme adventurer Jukka Hilden as he leads a team of people with no climbing experience up the Peruvian Andes. Folks like author Antti Reini, ice hockey champion Janne Niinimaa, fashion designer Minna Parikka, politician Leena Harkimo, actor Antti Luusuaniemi, drag queen Cristal Snow, beauty queen Lola Wallinkoski and TV-host Tuija Pehkonen come together in the village of Huaraz, Peru, with the common goal of climbing nearly 20,000 feet to the top of Mt. Tocllaraju.
