Masters of Everyday Life
Game show, 12 x 30 mins
A fun and entertaining studio based game show where two teams of celebrities compete against each other to answer questions about practical everyday life to win money which goes to a charity of their choice. The format has been produced for public broadcaster ARD’s SWR in Germany since 2012, with over 29 seasons (322 episodes!) produced to date. Questions are from an array of everyday scenarios such as: How do you get a ring off a swollen finger Which of these foods are recommended for a keto based diet? Which of these household items gets red wine out of a carpet stain?
Enjoy laughter and learning as celebrities tackle fun, everyday challenges which gives the audience at home “I’ve Always Wondered About That!” -factor as well as getting those answers to those everyday mysteries that you’ve always been curious about.
The format has never been in distribution as the rights were previously held by the broadcaster, hence why this life hack format is having its debutante distribution debut with Rabbit.
The Unusual Report
Entertainment, 10 x 30 mins
In this comedic travel show, a comedian goes in search of ordinary people who have made headlines in quirky, unusual ways – as viral memes, local community stories or on social media. In each episode, our slightly underqualified but well-meaning volunteer journalist host ventures into small towns to investigate bizarre, unnecessary, or deeply important local stories – often all three at once. The goal? Solve the problem, become a local legend, and ideally, not get run out of town!
Outrageous, offbeat and hilarious, the show balances humour with genuine warmth, showcasing charm and unforgettable characters you won’t find anywhere else. A uniquely irreverent format offers an insightful yet absurdly amusing look at the weird and wonderful side of countries! 4 consecutive seasons produced by Kevin & Co for Three New Zealand (WBD) with S5 in production.
City Vs Country
Game Show, 12 x 60 mins
The whole country is divided roughly into two sides: people living in the big cities and people living in the countryside. In this show, two hosts take the teams through three rounds of the game to see which side dominates: city or country?
The teams can be family members, friends, co-workers or neighbours as long as they feel strongly about being part of one of the sides. During the three rounds the teams are asked a variety of questions concerning the lifestyle of the other side. The team who gathers the most points after the three rounds; wins a luxury holiday.
The Hungarian version of the series on TV2 is a 20 x 60 min daily stripped version, which also incorporates physical challenges in the studio!
The format is currently being produced in:
Finland – S8
Lithuania – S2
Ukraine – S1
Poland – S1
Hungary – S1
The Most Endangered Species
Factual Entertainment, 8 x 60 mins
An epic travel series featuring the world’s most fascinating endangered animals. A nature enthusiast travels together with a witty comedian to the outermost corners of the world to get acquainted with the protection of endangered animals and even to see a glimpse of these rare species. But funny.
The New Zealand version focuses on endangered animals in various locations in just New Zealand only, unlike the original Finnish version which travelled around to various locations across the world. We are open to both versions but have garnered more interest in partnerships with conservation groups in New Zealand with a domestic version. Also, S2 of the NZ version is beating Married at First Sight Australia which we like to think is nature healing itself ;)!
Ultimate Escape
Adventure Reality, 9 x 60 mins (self-contained version) or 9 x 120 mins (series-long arch)
The world’s most brutal escape room, somewhere between sanity and insanity. Each episode sees an A-list celebrity locked in a container in the middle of nowhere meanwhile hundreds of miles away, the host is released from inside a box. The host then has 24 hours, 24 clues from the celebrity and 24 minutes of phone time to find the “lost” celebrity locked in the container. Throughout the mission, the host will face numerous physical challenges pushing them to their limits, before reaching the container.
Starting out the host is only carrying a map, a compass, a satellite phone and underwear….so not only do they need to find food; they need clothes, vehicles and lots of other gear.
Now also commissioned by Seven Network (TX TBC, 2025), in this new series-arched version of the format, 10 teams of 2 will take part in the ultimate search and rescue mission. Each team faces the biggest endurance test of their lives, as one of them is locked up in a secret location, and one has to race against the clock to find their teammate. They are testing their relationships and pushing themselves to the limits, not just mentally but physically. Those that free their partner in time, share in a cash prize of $100k. Starting only with a tracking device, a satellite phone and the clothes on their back, each rescuer has 24 hours to reach a rendezvous point to continue on their journey to find their teammate.
